REALTOR® OF THE YEAR CRITERIA
The purpose of the REALTOR® of the Year award is to recognize an active member who has provided outstanding service to his or her profession and community.
Below are some criteria that exemplify the REALTOR® of the Year candidate.
1). REALTOR® SPIRIT: High principles, faithfulness to laws and regulations of the Code of Ethics and the Association; furtherance of principles of good real estate practice among other brokers and the general public.
2). CIVIC ACTIVITY: Local, state and national level participation in civic and service clubs, charitable activities, political action, fraternal or religious groups, etc.
3). LOCAL ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY: Association officers and committee work; individual assignments; seminar activity and education work; membership and officers in local chapters or Institutes, Societies, etc.
4). STATE ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY: same as 3) above, but at a State Association level; include attendance at State Conventions.
5). NAR ACTIVITY: same as 4.) above but at the national level.
6). BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENT: recognized proper business conduct, imaginative and creative advertising programs, rehabilitation work, land utilization, etc.
